About Red.

I will be your host, with the most amazing animal facts and you can interact with all the friendly ones!

My name is Red, I was born in Leicester in 1971. My parents emigrated to south Africa the same year, (what luck). Sea, sand, sun and lots of animals.

I think if I look back, I must have been about five years old when my first snake chased me. Things changed from that day and I then began to chase them. All through my teens I was catching, selling and swapping animals, it wasn't until my late teens that I realised I wanted to protect them. This is when I became a Game Ranger on the border of South Africa and Botswana, a town called Roobibokkraal. It was miles from home but the animals were my passion and I got to shoot at poachers (what a job).

I then left the reserve to do my national service. Things in South Africa got difficult so I decided to move to Leicester in 1992 to meet my family and become a Game Ranger! There was no call for Game Rangers in the UK.

So here I am with my own collection of animals to share with you.
